About the Library
The Aggarwal College Ballabgarh Library is a central hub for students, faculty, and researchers belonging to the College of Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences, and Management. Established in 2005, the library has grown from a modest collection of textbooks to a vibrant resource centre that offers both print and electronic materials aligned with the colleges multidisciplinary curriculum.
Located on the first floor of the main academic block, the library provides a quiet, welllit environment, equipped with ergonomic furniture, WiFi, and dedicated study zones for group work and individual research.

Over 18,000 volumes covering:

- General Education and Soft Skills
All books are catalogued in the Koha Integrated Library System, allowing users to search by title, author, ISBN, or subject.
Journals & Periodicals
Print subscriptions include 120 national and international journals such as:
- Indian Journal of Pharmacy
- Journal of Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutics
- International Journal of Nursing Studies
- Harvard Business Review (Indian edition)
Current issues are displayed on the librarys notice board and older issues are archived in the periodicals section.
Theses & Dissertations
The library stores copies of all postgraduate theses defended at the college. These are available for reference in the dedicated graduate research corner and are also digitised for online access (see Digital Access section).
Digital Resources
EBooks
More than 7,500 ebooks are available through platforms such as EBSCOhost, SpringerLink and Wiley Online Library. Students can download PDFs or read directly in the browser using their college credentials.

Institutional Repository
All faculty publications, conference presentations, and approved student projects are deposited in the Aggarwal College Institutional Repository (IR). The IR is searchable via a simple web interface and supports openaccess licensing.
Multimedia & Learning Tools
The library offers:
- Access to NPTEL video lectures and recorded webinars.
- Audiovisual kits for language labs.
- Software licenses for statistical packages (SPSS, R) and reference managers (EndNote, Mendeley).
Library Services
- Circulation: 14day borrowing period for books; 7day for journals. Renewals can be done online.
- InterLibrary Loan (ILL): Requests for material not held locally are processed through the National Academic Library Network.
- Reference Assistance: Trained librarians provide oneonone support, literature reviews, and citation guidance.
- Information Literacy Workshops: Regular sessions on database searching, plagiarism avoidance, and research data management.
- Study Rooms: Booking of four group study rooms equipped with whiteboards and projectors.
- Printing & Scanning: Selfservice stations with affordable rates for students.
User Guidelines
To maintain a productive environment, all users are requested to follow these basic rules:
- Show your college ID at the circulation desk before borrowing any material.
- Maintain silence; mobile phones should be set to vibrate.
- Food and drinks are allowed only in designated lounge areas.
- Return books and equipment on time to avoid fines (5 per day for books, 10 per day for electronic devices).
- Report any damage or loss of library material to the staff immediately.
- Follow the digital usage policy do not share login credentials with nonstudents.
