Empowering future leaders through education The AndrewMcMorris Foundation Scholarship was established in 2005 by philanthropist and entrepreneur Andrew McMorris. The mission of the foundation is to remove financial barriers for highpotential students who demonstrate academic excellence, community involvement, and a commitment to personal growth. Each year, the foundation awards a select group of scholars with tuition assistance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Scholarships are open to undergraduate and graduate students studying at accredited institutions in the United States and Canada. The foundation believes that investing in talent creates a ripple effect, strengthening families, communities, and ultimately, the global economy. To be considered for the AndrewMcMorris Foundation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements: Applicants who have previously received a fullride scholarship from another organization are still eligible, provided they can demonstrate a genuine financial need. Successful scholars are awarded a package that includes: All candidates must complete the online application through the foundations portal. The form collects personal information, academic history, and financial data. Applicants must upload official transcripts, the personal essay, and recommendation letters in PDF format. The Scholarship Committee reviews each submission against the eligibility criteria and selects a shortlist of 30 candidates for virtual interviews. Shortlisted applicants participate in a 30minute interview with two committee members. The interview focuses on leadership experiences and future aspirations. After the interview stage, the committee selects up to 15 scholars for the current award cycle. Notification letters are sent via email by the end of June.
