Advancing Entrepreneurial Thought and Action The Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship is dedicated to advancing entrepreneurial thinking and action, creating opportunities for students, faculty, alumni, and community members to innovate and succeed. The Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship at Babson College was established in 1998 through a generous gift from Arthur M. Blank, co-founder of The Home Depot and owner of the Atlanta Falcons. Since its inception, the Center has been recognized internationally for its excellence in entrepreneurship education and research. Our mission is to transform the way entrepreneurship is taught, learned, and practiced worldwide. We believe entrepreneurship is not just about starting businessesit's about approaching challenges with an entrepreneurial mindset, regardless of career path. The Center serves as a hub for entrepreneurial activity, connecting aspiring entrepreneurs with experienced mentors, resources, and networks needed to turn innovative ideas into sustainable ventures. We offer comprehensive entrepreneurship courses integrated across undergraduate and graduate programs. Our curriculum emphasizes experiential learning, real-world application, and the development of an entrepreneurial mindset. Our acceleration programs provide early-stage ventures with funding, mentorship, workspace, and connections to help them grow from concept to market-ready businesses. Through international field experiences, consulting projects with overseas startups, and partnerships with global entrepreneurial ecosystems, we prepare students to succeed in international markets. We support ventures that create positive social impact through our social entrepreneurship programs, helping students develop solutions to pressing societal challenges while building sustainable business models. Our programs help established organizations foster innovation from within by teaching entrepreneurial approaches to problem-solving, opportunity recognition, and strategic growth. Our faculty conduct cutting-edge research on entrepreneurship, contributing to academic knowledge and providing insights valuable to entrepreneurs, policymakers, and educators worldwide. Our alumni have founded companies across numerous industries, from healthcare technology to sustainable consumer goods, financial services to renewable energy. Many have become serial entrepreneurs, while others have applied their entrepreneurial skills to lead innovation within established corporations and nonprofit organizations. Monthly talks featuring successful entrepreneurs sharing their journeys, challenges, and insights. Open to students, faculty, and community members. Our annual entrepreneurship competition where students pitch their ventures to a panel of investors and entrepreneurs for feedback and potential funding. A 54-hour intensive experience where teams form to develop business ideas, receive mentorship, and compete for prizes. An annual event celebrating and supporting women founders, featuring speakers, networking opportunities, and workshops. Arthur M.
