Established in 2005, the scholarship provides financial assistance to aspiring realestate professionals who demonstrate academic promise, a commitment to community service, and a genuine interest in a career in real estate.

Each year a modest fund is set aside from board dues, donations, and local sponsorships. The scholarship is awarded once annually at the Boards spring meeting and is presented in a brief ceremony that highlights the achievements and future goals of the recipient.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

Be a highschool senior, undergraduate, or graduate student residing in the Contoocook Valley region (Merrimack, Hillsborough, or Rockingham counties).

Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Demonstrate an interest in a realestate career, whether through coursework, internships, or related extracurricular activities.

Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Provide a current transcript and two letters of recommendation (one academic, one professional or communityservice based).

Submit a completed application by the posted deadline.

Selection Criteria

The Scholarship Committee evaluates each candidate on the basis of four primary factors:

Academic Achievement: GPA, rigor of coursework, and evidence of continuous improvement.

Community Involvement: Volunteer work, leadership in clubs or civic groups, and demonstrated commitment to local causes.

RealEstate Interest: Clear articulation of why real estate is a chosen career path, including any relevant experience.

Future Potential: The applicants goals, personal statement, and how the scholarship will assist in achieving those objectives.

Each criterion is weighted equally; the Committee seeks a wellrounded applicant who exemplifies both scholastic dedication and a spirit of service.

Benefits of the Scholarship

Recipients receive a onetime award of $1,500, payable directly to the educational institution.
