DAV Public School

History

Founded in 1885 under the vision of the Dayanand AngloVedic (DAV) movement, DAV Public Schools have grown from a modest initiative into one of the largest networks of schools in India. The first DAV school began in Lahore, promoting the ideals of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswatieducation grounded in Vedic values, scientific temper, and social responsibility. Over the next century, the movement expanded across the subcontinent, creating a legacy of institutions that blend tradition with modernity.
