History & Vision

Delhi Public School, Bangalore (DPS Bangalore) is part of the larger Delhi Public School Society, an educational network founded in 1949 by the late ShriK.L.Advani. The Bangalore branch opened its doors in 1970 and has since grown into one of the most soughtafter schools in the city. The school follows the vision of Holistic Development of the Child, a mantra that emphasizes balanced growthintellectual, moral, physical, and artistic.

From modest beginnings with a handful of classrooms and a small campus, DPS Bangalore now occupies a sprawling 10acre campus in the northern part of the city, equipped with modern infrastructure while retaining a tradition of academic rigor and valuebased education.

Academic Programme

DPS Bangalore is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The curriculum is designed to meet national standards while encouraging enquiry, problemsolving, and independent thought.

Step 2 Selection

• Written aptitude test (for Classes15).
• Personal interview with the principal or class teacher.
• Reservation of seats as per government policy and DPS Society guidelines.
