Disney Summer QuickService Meal Plan

What Is the Disney Summer QuickService Meal Plan?

The Disney Summer QuickService (QS) Meal Plan is a prepaid dining option that lets guests enjoy unlimited meals at the fastcasual restaurants across Walt Disney World Resort during the summer season (typically midMay through early September). It is designed for families or groups who expect to dine primarily at quickservice locations and who want a predictable, allinclusive price for food.

Unlike the standard AllDay Dining plan, the Summer QS plan is only active for the summer months, making it a seasonal offering that Disney rolls out every year. When the plan is active, it can be added to your Disney Resort hotel reservation or purchased separately for nonresort guests.

Who Can Use It?

The plan is available to:

  • Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel (any category).
  • Guests staying at select nonDisney hotels that have a partnership with Disney (the partner hotel option).
  • Guests who purchase a standalone meal plan without a resort stay, though this is limited to a set number of days.

All guests 3 years of age and older must have a valid Disney resort reservation or a paid meal plan ticket; children under 3 eat for free at quickservice locations.

Pricing & Packages

Disney offers three main tiers for the Summer QuickService Meal Plan, each with a different price point and dining credit value:

  1. Log into your Disney account or create one.
  2. Reserve your Disney Resort hotel or partner hotel stay.
  3. During the reservation process, youll see a Add Dining Plan optionchoose the Summer QS plan and select your tier.
  4. Complete payment. Your meal plan credits will appear on your Disney MagicBand or Visa Card on the day of checkin.
  5. If you already have a reservation, you can add the plan later by calling Disney Reservations (18009511234) or via the My Disney Experience app.

What the Meal Plan Covers

Credits can be used at any quickservice restaurant inside the four theme parks, Disney Springs, and select resort locations. Examples include:

  • Caseys Corner (Main Street, U.S.A.) classic hot dogs and fries.
  • Sunshine Seasons (Epcot) fresh salads, sandwiches, and Asian bowls.
  • Columbia Harbour House (Magic Kingdom) seafood platters and clam chowder.
  • Flame Tree Barbecue (Animal Kingdom) ribs, smoked chicken, and corn bread.
  • Woodys Lunch Box (Hollywood Studios) grilled cheese and tomato soup.
  • Disney Springs QuickService spots such as Earl of Sandwich, Blaze FastFired Pizza, & Blaze Pizza.

Snack credits can be used for treats like churros, popcorn, Dole Whip, Mickeyshaped pretzels, or a small bakery item.

Tableservice credits (if you have a tier that includes them) can be redeemed at any tableservice eatery, from the iconic Be Our Guest restaurant to the upscale Victoria & Alberts (subject to availability).

Tips for Getting the Most Value

  • Plan your dining schedule. Use the My Disney Experience app to reserve quickservice locations in advance (especially popular spots like Sunshine Seasons).
  • Take advantage of snack credits. Grab a Dole Whip or a popcorn bucket during a ride breakthese small treats add up quickly.
  • Combine meals. Share larger entre plates with a partner; you only need one credit for a shared meal.
  • Use the BreakfastFirst strategy. Quickservice breakfast items (e.g., Mickey waffles, oatmeal) are usually lower in cost, saving credits for pricier lunch/dinner options.
  • Check for promotional addons. Disney occasionally offers bonus snack credits for guests who purchase the plan during certain weeks.
  • Dont waste credits. Any unused meal or snack credit on the final night of your stay is forfeitedplan a larger dinner or extra snack on that night.
  • Use mobile ordering. Order from the app to skip lines and ensure you have a seat at busy locations.

Alternatives & When It May Not Be Worth It

If your group prefers tableservice dining, character meals, or plans to spend many meals outside the parks (e.g., at a hotel restaurant), the QS plan may not provide the best value. In those cases consider:

  • Payasyougo quickservice meals you have total control over where and when you eat.
  • DiningOnly Disney Dining Plan (if offered) focuses on tableservice credits without quickservice meals.
  • Individual meal vouchers or Dining Credits purchased separately for special occasions.

Compare the total estimated cost of your planned meals (average quickservice meal $14$16 per adult) to the pernight price of the plan. If the plan costs more than what youd typically spend, it may be smarter to forgo it.
