It is designed for students who can comfortably hold everyday conversations, read short articles, and write simple essays in Korean. In this course, learners will tackle complex sentence structures, expand their vocabulary to include idiomatic expressions, and develop the ability to discuss abstract topics such as politics, culture, and technology. Each week combines interactive lectures, guided practice, and authentic media exposure. By the end of the 12week program, students should be able to understand most nativelevel TV programs without subtitles and express nuanced opinions both in speech and writing. Diagnostic test, refresher on Level 3 grammar, introduction to course platform. Focus on compound sentences, indirect speech, and nuanced tense combinations. Practice through roleplays and sentencereconstruction drills. Study idiomatic expressions, proverbs, and honorific variations. Vocabulary lists are tied to weekly reading passages from Korean newspapers. Analyze news clips, podcasts, and drama excerpts. Students perform shadowing exercises and conduct miniinterviews with classmates. Outline, draft, and peerreview essays on topics such as The impact of technology on Korean society and Environmental policies in Korea. Students deliver a 5minute presentation and submit a final essay. Feedback focuses on fluency, accuracy, and cultural nuance. Assessment is continuous and consists of: Students who achieve a minimum overall score of 70% receive a Korean Language Level4 Certificate, recognized by partner universities and Korean language institutes.
