The New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation (NYC Health + Hospitals) is the largest public health system in the United States. Founded in 1969, it operates 11 acute care hospitals, 5 longterm care facilities, more than 70 community health centers, and a network of outpatient sites that serve every borough.
