History
P. UmaDutt Public School was founded in 1975 by the late ShriP. UmaDutt, a visionary educator who believed that quality education should be accessible to every child regardless of background. The school began with just two classrooms and a handful of students in the modest town of Kalyanpur. Within a decade, it expanded to a fullsize campus, adding science labs, a library and a playground.
From the outset, the institution emphasized moral values, discipline, and a love of learning. Over the years, the school has celebrated numerous milestonesits golden jubilee in 2025, the inauguration of a stateoftheart computer centre in 2015, and the establishment of an ecogarden in 2020.
