When to Collect the Sample

Materials You Will Need

• Stool collection kit (container with a screwtop lid and a waterproof seal)

Preparation

How to Collect the Stool Sample

3. After you have a bowel movement, use the spoon/spatula to collect a small amount of stool (about the size of a walnut) and place it into the container.
4. Seal the container tightly and discard the plastic wrap in the trash.

After Collection
