Pennsylvania House of Representatives Scholarship Fund
The Pennsylvania House of Representatives Scholarship Fund (PHRSF) was created in 1994 as a joint effort of the House leadership and the Community College System of Pennsylvania. Its purpose is to recognize outstanding students, encourage higher education, and honor the memory of members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly who have contributed to public service.
Each year the Fund awards a limited number of competitive scholarships to Pennsylvania residents who demonstrate academic excellence, community involvement, and a commitment to public service. The scholarships are administered by the Office of the Speaker and are funded through contributions from legislators, private donors, and corporate partners.
