Introduction

Periyar University, Salem, submitted its Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) for the academic year 2016-17 to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Established in 1997 and named after the great social reformer Thanthai Periyar E.V. Ramasamy, the university has been serving the higher education needs of the Salem region with distinction.
