About SalvationTree.edu.in
Salvation Tree is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to bridging the educational divide in Indias rural heartland. Operating primarily through its online portal salvationtree.edu.in, the organization delivers quality learning resources, teacher training, and communitydriven projects that empower children, parents, and educators alike.
The platform was launched in 2019 and has since grown into a hub for over 5,000 volunteers, 150 schools, and countless learners across three states. The website offers free curricula, interactive ebooks, live webinars, and a transparent dashboard that tracks progress for each participating school.
Vision & Mission
Vision: A future where every child, irrespective of geography or economic status, enjoys access to a worldclass education.
Mission:
- Provide free, culturally relevant digital learning material to rural schools.
- Equip teachers with modern pedagogical skills through continuous professional development.
- Engage families and local leaders to create a supportive learning ecosystem.
- Measure and showcase outcomes to attract further support and scale impact.
Core Programs
1. Digital Classroom Library
The Digital Classroom Library hosts over 2,500 downloadable textbooks, videos, and interactive quizzes aligned with the CBSE and state curricula. All resources are free and available in Hindi, English, and regional languages.
2. Teacher Training Workshops
Monthly virtual workshops train teachers in childcentered teaching, assessment techniques, and use of technology. Participants earn certification that is recognized by local education authorities.
3. Community Learning Centers (CLCs)
CLCs act as satellite hubs where students can come after school for tutoring, computer literacy, and lifeskill sessions. Each center is run by a local volunteer coordinator and supported by donated equipment.
4. Scholarship & Mentorship Scheme
Highperforming students from participating schools receive meritbased scholarships that cover school fees, books, and transport. A mentorship network pairs them with professionals from urban colleges.
All programs are anchored by a datadriven approach: schools submit monthly reports, and Salvation Tree generates visual dashboards that highlight attendance, learning gains, and resource utilization.
