Excessive tillage can break up fungal networks, while the overuse of synthetic fertilizers and chemical pesticides can disrupt the delicate balance of the microbial population. Reducing soil disturbance, incorporating cover crops, and adding organic matter like compost are key strategies for nurturing a vibrant, healthy soil microbiome.
