The mathematics curriculum at St Thomas School Loni for Class VII (2021-22) aims to develop students' mathematical thinking and reasoning abilities while building a strong foundation in fundamental mathematical concepts. Course Objectives

- Algebraic Expressions: Formation, terms, coefficients, like and unlike terms, operations on algebraic expressions
- Linear Equations in One Variable: Formation, solving simple equations, applications
- Linear Equations in Two Variables: Introduction, solution, plotting on coordinate plane
Unit 3: Geometry
- Lines and Angles: Types of angles, pairs of angles, parallel lines and transversals
- Triangles: Properties, types of triangles, medians and altitudes
- Congruence of Triangles: Criteria for congruence (SSS, SAS, ASA, RHS)

Assessment Pattern
