The State Level Talent Search Examination (SLTSE) 2019 was organized by the Rajasthan State Education Board (RSEB) to identify and nurture academically gifted schoolgoing students across the state. The examination was conducted in two stages a preliminary online test followed by a written test for qualified candidates. Successful candidates were offered scholarships, special coaching, and guaranteed admission to select programmes in leading institutions.

The preliminary online test was held on 7September2019. The test comprised three sections:

Each correct answer awarded 4 marks; there was a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. The syllabus followed the NCERT ClassX curriculum with an emphasis on problemsolving and analytical reasoning.
