Honest Greens is committed to providing clear, reliable information about the ingredients in every product. Knowing which allergens may be present helps you make safe food choices, especially if you have a diagnosed allergy or a strong intolerance.
Allergen Declaration Policy
All products sold by Honest Greens are manufactured in facilities that adhere to EU Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011. The following allergens are declared on each label, in bold, according to the law:
- Celery
- Crustaceans
- Eggs
- Fish
- Gluten (wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt, kamut)
- Lupin
- Milk
- Molluscs
- Mustard
- Peanuts
- Sesame seeds
- Shellfish
- Soybeans
- Tree nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pistachios, Brazil nuts, etc.)
If a product contains any of these ingredients, the information will appear on the front or back of the packaging in a highlighted format.
CrossContamination Risks
Our manufacturing sites use dedicated lines for many products, but some facilities also process foods that contain allergens not listed on the product label. We employ strict cleaning procedures, but we cannot guarantee absolute absence of trace amounts.

How to Read Our Labels
- Ingredient List: All ingredients are listed in descending order of weight.
- Allergen Highlight: Any of the 14 major allergens that are present are written in **bold**.
- May Contain Statement: If the product was produced on equipment that also processes an allergen, a statement such as May contain traces of is printed.
- Nutritional Information: Calorie, protein, fat, carbohydrate, and fibre data are shown for each serving.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Are your products vegan?
Many items are vegan, but not all. Look for the Vegan badge on the packaging. Eggbased and dairybased items, such as the Chocolate Brownie, are clearly marked.
2. Do you use any hidden sources of gluten?
No. All glutencontaining ingredients are declared. However, some products may use malt extract for flavor, which is also a form of gluten and will be listed.
3. How often are formulations updated?
We review our recipes quarterly. If a change introduces a new allergen, the packaging and website are updated within 30 days.
4. Can I request a custom allergenfree version?
