Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The PET is mandatory for all those who qualify the written exam. It consists of three events:
- Running: 800 meters for men, 600 meters for women within 3 minutes.
- Pushups: Minimum 15 for men, 10 for women in 1 minute.
- Longjump: Minimum 1.8 meters for men, 1.2 meters for women.
Each event carries a maximum of 30 marks; a minimum cutoff of 90 marks is required to be declared qualified.
Interview Procedure
Candidates who clear the written test and PET are called for a personal interview. The interview assesses:
