Banking & Finance RBI functions, financial inclusion. 5. General Science & Technology Physics Motion, Work, Energy, Simple Machines. Chemistry Atomic structure, Chemical reactions, Acids & bases. Biology Human body systems, Genetics, Ecology. Technology Information Technology, Space & Satellite, Internet basics. 6. Current Affairs National & International events of the last 12 months. Government schemes & policies. Important awards, sports achievements, scientific discoveries. Aptitude Test (PaperII) The Aptitude paper also carries 100 marks and tests logical reasoning and quantitative ability.
Quantitative Aptitude Number Systems Divisibility, Remainders, LCM & HCF. Arithmetic Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Simple & Compound Interest, Profit & Loss, Discount. Algebra Linear equations, Quadratic equations, Progressions. Geometry & Mensuration Areas, Volumes, Surface area, Perimeter. Data Interpretation Tables, Bar charts, Pie charts, Line graphs. Logical Reasoning Verbal Reasoning Analogies, Coding & Decoding, Series, Blood Relations. Nonverbal Reasoning Seating arrangements, Puzzles, Directions, Logical sequences. Physical & Medical Standards After clearing the written examination, candidates must appear for the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and a Medical Examination.
Physical Endurance Test (PET) Running: 100 meters for males ( 13 seconds) and females ( 16 seconds). Long Jump: Minimum 1.6 meters for males and 1.2 meters for females. High Jump: Minimum 1.3 meters for males and 1.0 meters for females. Medical Fitness Height: Minimum 165 cm (male), 152 cm (female). Chest: Minimum 79 cm (male) with expansion of 5 cm; 70 cm (female) with expansion of 4 cm. Vision: Normal unaided vision (6/6) or corrected to normal. General health: No chronic disease, no history of epilepsy, no color blindness, etc. Note: Physical standards are subject to change; always verify the latest official notification before the test.
