In twelve weeks you will practice realworld conversations, master essential etiquette, and build confidence using the language in situations that matter to youwhether you are shopping in a market, navigating public transport, or sharing a meal with friends.

Unlike traditional language classes that focus on isolated drills, this course integrates cultural insights, situational roleplays, and community interaction. The result is a functional command of Japanese that feels natural, not forced.

The syllabus is divided into four modules, each lasting three weeks. Every module contains three core components:

  1. Conversation Labs live, instructorled sessions with native speakers.
  2. Culture Capsules short videos and reading clips that explain customs, slang, and regional differences.
  3. Practice Missions realworld tasks (e.g., ordering at a restaurant, asking for directions) that you complete and submit for feedback.

Module 1 Foundations of Daily Life
Topics: greetings, selfintroduction, numbers, time, transportation, ordering food.

Module 2 Work & Study Environments
Topics: email etiquette, meeting phrases, asking for clarification, campus vocabulary.

Module 3 Social Settings
Topics: making friends, expressing opinions, invitations, polite refusal, hobby discussion.

Module 4 Advanced Practicalities
Topics: healthcare, banking, housing, emergency language, cultural holidays.

The course combines synchronous video classes (twice a week) with an asynchronous learning hub. All participants receive:
