Year5 Work & Future (Weeks3340)
Focus: jobs, daily work life, aspirations.
Core verbs: work, earn, apply, interview. Vocabulary around professions (teacher, engineer, shop assistant, police officer) and future plans (will, want to, hope) is added.
Year6 Review & Extension (Weeks4148)
Focus: consolidation of all previous themes, introduction of selected extension items.
Extension examples: occasionally, postpone, celebrate, tradition, technology. At this stage, learners are encouraged to produce short narratives that combine multiple themes, thereby demonstrating mastery of the full wordlist.
