Covers folk poetry, classical Ottoman divan literature, and the early modern period (15th19th centuries). Students analyze translations and original texts. - Survey of Turkish Literature II (Republic Era)
Examines the transformation of literary forms after 1923, with focus on authors such as Nazm Hikmet, Orhan Veli, and Ahmet Hamdi Tanpnar. - Contemporary Turkish Fiction
Introduces post1990 novelists, short-story writers, and diaspora narratives. Discussions include themes of identity, migration, and gender. - Literary Translation Workshop
