Eligibility Criteria

Research Scientist A

• Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant field with First Class in Master's degree OR equivalent experience in relevant area.
• Age Limit: 35 years as on closing date of application.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of research experience in relevant field.

Research Scientist B

• Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant field with First Class in Master's degree and at least 3 years of research experience.
• Age Limit: 40 years as on closing date of application.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of research experience with at least 3 published papers in peer-reviewed journals.

Senior Technical Officer

• Educational Qualification: First Class B.E./B.Tech. in relevant engineering discipline.
• Age Limit: 32 years as on closing date of application.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant technical experience.

Technical Assistant

• Educational Qualification: First Class Diploma in Engineering (3 years) in relevant discipline.
• Age Limit: 30 years as on closing date of application.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant technical experience is desirable.

Administrative Officer

• Educational Qualification: Master's degree in any discipline with 55% marks.
• Age Limit: 35 years as on closing date of application.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in a government or reputed organization.

Junior Assistant

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks.
• Age Limit: 28 years as on closing date of application.
• Experience: No prior experience required.
• Skills: Knowledge of computer applications and basic office software.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be done based on the following stages:

For Research Scientist Positions (A & B)

1. Screening of Applications: Initial screening based on qualifications and experience.
2. Written Examination: Objective type test on relevant subject and general aptitude.
3. Presentation: Shortlisted candidates will be required to give a presentation on their research work.
4. Interview: Personal interview to assess research capability and subject knowledge.

For Technical Positions

1. Written Examination: Technical and general aptitude test.
2. Trade Test: Practical test to assess technical skills.
3. Interview: Personal interview.

For Administrative Positions

1. Written Examination: General English, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and Numerical Ability.
2. Computer Skill Test: To assess proficiency in office applications.
3. Interview: Personal interview.

Syllabus for Examination

Research Scientist Positions

• Subject Knowledge (70%): Questions related to the specific subject area.
• Research Methodology (15%): Research design, data analysis, and interpretation.
• General Aptitude (15%): Logical reasoning, numerical ability, and general knowledge.

Technical Positions

• Technical Knowledge (60%): Questions related to the specific technical domain.
• General Science (20%): Basic science concepts and applications.
• General Aptitude (20%): Logical reasoning, numerical ability, and general knowledge.

Administrative Positions

• General English (25%): Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills.
• General Knowledge (25%): Current affairs, Indian polity, economy, and history.
• Reasoning (25%): Logical and analytical reasoning.
• Numerical Ability (25%): Arithmetic, data interpretation, and basic mathematical operations.

Age Relaxation

Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India norms:

General Instructions

• Candidates belonging to OBC category must produce the valid caste certificate in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority at the time of interview.
• Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates claiming age relaxation/ reservation must produce the disability certificate issued by the competent medical authority.
• Candidates already in government service should apply through proper channel or produce No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of interview.
• The posts are temporary but likely to continue. The organization reserves the right to terminate the services of the appointed candidates with a notice period of one month or one month's pay in lieu thereof.
• The number of vacancies is tentative and may increase or decrease at the discretion of the organization.
• Candidates will be selected on merit and based on the rules governing recruitment.
• Outstation candidates appearing for interview will be reimbursed to and fro second class train/bus fare by the shortest route on production of ticket.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification of the candidate.
• The organization reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process in whole or in part without assigning any reason.
• Applications that are incomplete, not in the prescribed format, or received after the due date will be rejected.
