Providing quality education in Gujarati language while nurturing cultural values and traditions Welcome to ORA Sydney Gujarati Grammar School, a premier institution dedicated to promoting and preserving Gujarati language and culture in the heart of Sydney. Established in 2005, our school has been serving the Gujarati community with unwavering commitment for nearly two decades. Our founder, Mrs. Leela Desai, had a vision to create a place where children of Gujarati heritage could connect with their roots while growing up in Australia. Starting with just 25 students and 3 teachers in a community hall, we have grown to become a thriving educational institution with over 400 students across various proficiency levels. At ORA Sydney Gujarati Grammar School, we believe that language is the carrier of culture. Our curriculum is designed not only to teach reading, writing, and speaking Gujarati but also to immerse students in the rich traditions, literature, arts, and values of Gujarat. Our mission is to preserve and promote the Gujarati language and cultural heritage in Australia while preparing our students to become confident individuals who appreciate their identity and can navigate multiple cultures successfully. We follow a structured syllabus that aligns with Australian educational standards while incorporating elements from the Gujarat State Board curriculum. This ensures that our students develop strong language skills while understanding their cultural context.Promoting Gujarati Language and Culture in Sydney
