Squidlips Grill began as a modest popup stand on the boardwalk of Oceanview Bay in 2014. Founded by two lifelong friendschefpartner Maya Reynolds and marinebiologistturnedentrepreneur Carlos Ortegathe concept was simple: serve fresh, locally sourced seafood in a relaxed, familyfriendly atmosphere.

After a year of overwhelming demand, the pair secured a permanent waterfront property, turning the original stand into a fullsize grill. Today, Squidlips is celebrated for its commitment to sustainable sourcing, inventive twists on classic beach fare, and a menu that reflects the vibrant multicultural heritage of the coastal region.
